Job Title: Business Intelligence Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Specialist to join our team at IT Connex. As a Business Intelligence Specialist, you will be responsible for capturing, reviewing data, and reporting on trends and patterns using various tools and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and test ETL components to move data
  • Analyze data and produce insights for business stakeholders
  • Analyze data problems and concepts and provide multiple and creative solutions
  • Build new reports and modify existing reports in partnership with the Business
  • Support all BI components operationally via monitoring and troubleshooting
  • Develop and maintain functional & technical documentation
  • Facilitate deployment of changes with disciplined change management process
  • Interface with internal and external clients to determine reporting & insights requirements
  • Translate business and client needs into technical specifications
  • Facilitate UAT and QA testing
  • Provide client support for our applications as required
  • Proactive approach to staying up to date on industry changes and trend actively learning new technologies
Requirements:
  • College Diploma or Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in technology, data analytics
  • In addition to hands on development, experience in writing functional and technical specifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Deep experience with data warehousing technologies and concepts
  • Experience with cloud technologies
  • Experience with the following platforms preferred:
  • Snowflake preferred or other platforms such as TeraData, or Microsoft Fabric
  • Matillin ETL preferred or other ETL Platforms such as Informatica, or Azure Data Factory
  • Microsoft Power BI preferred or Tableau
  • SQL Server and SSRS
  • Microsoft Azure
