Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary:
Fraser Health is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will provide speech language pathology services to patients in accordance with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC) standards of practice and Fraser Health's mission and values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech and language disorders in patients.
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborates with the interprofessional care team to provide patient-centered care.
- Participates in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of care.
- Provides education and consultation to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with the College of Speech and Hearing Health Professionals of BC (CSHHPBC).
- Knowledge of speech language pathology theory and practice within a patient-centered model of care.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position working in a hospital setting. The successful candidate will be required to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
