Job Description

The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the operation of facilities, including mechanical and supporting systems. This involves performing structured inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, routine and on-demand services on facility mechanical equipment and other systems.

This role requires strong problem-solving skills, as the technician will need to troubleshoot issues and provide suggestions for enhancement and repair. The technician must also comply with all internal and external requirements, including environmental, health, and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems and a high school diploma plus trades training or experience. A Power Engineer Certification or equivalent is an asset.
