Store Sales Associate Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Sales Associate to join our team in Burlington. As a key member of our retail sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with contractors and customers, and driving sales growth through effective product recommendations and promotions.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing expert advice and guidance to customers on paint and coatings products, including color matching and product selection.
  • Building strong relationships with contractors and customers through effective communication, listening, and problem-solving skills.
  • Suggesting and recommending additional products and services to drive sales growth and enhance the customer experience.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store environment.
  • Lifting, moving, and stocking products while adhering to safety guidelines.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong customer focus and ability to build rapport with contractors and customers.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly, including weekends and overtime, to meet business needs.
  • Proficiency with computer and internet applications.
  • Physical stamina to lift, move, and stock products.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, based on location and experience. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as opportunities for professional development and career advancement.
