About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at YES Kids Christian Childcare. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment that supports the growth and development of our young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Child-Centered Approach: Encourage children to express their creativity through various mediums, including art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Environment and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Certifications and Memberships: Maintain current certifications, such as First Aid and CPR, and membership in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
  • Screening Questions: Ensure you meet the necessary requirements, including a vulnerable sector check, and are able to work in Canada.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Experience in early childhood education is an asset.
  • Work Setting: Child care centre.
  • Work Conditions: Physically demanding, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, and crouching.
  • Personal Suitability: Punctual, dependable, excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, reliability, and a team player.
What We Offer
