Electrical Design Engineer Job Description

Racar Canada Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems and components for our projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct feasibility studies and design operation and performance research of electrical generation and distribution networks
  • Supervise and inspect the installation and operation of electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures
  • Prepare contract documents and evaluate tenders for construction or maintenance
  • Commission systems and components
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies and systems
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical design and engineering
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems and components
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
Working Conditions:
  • 40 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language
