About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to join our warehouse team as a Supply Chain Operations Associate. In this role, you will be responsible for specialized warehouse tasks such as loading, unloading, order pulling, shipping, returns, forklift, counter, or may have a generalized role working in all departments.
Main Responsibilities- Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging and transportation of goods.
- Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets.
- Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
- Verify system inventory matches floor inventory.
- Maintain the condition of the work area (i.e. free of trash, product in the correct location, etc.). Follow company safety policies and procedures and encourage other associates to do the same.
This role is located in a comfortable indoor area with mild conditions. You will be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds in a physical environment. Ability to stand for periods of time up to and exceeding 60 minutes. Ability to make repetitive movements, such as using a 10-key or calculator, bending, or squatting.
Requirements- High School Diploma or GED is strongly preferred.
- 0-2 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
- Knowledge of machines and tools.
- Forklift experience.
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
