Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Cable Network Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations crew, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing cable signals and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Install and maintain cable signals: Inspect and test cable signals and associated equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
  2. Repair cable signals: Troubleshoot and repair cable signals and associated equipment as needed.
  3. Diagnose and locate equipment faults: Use specialized tools to diagnose and locate faults in telecommunications equipment.
  4. Analyze test results: Analyze test results to determine the best course of action for repairs or maintenance.
  5. Operate computerized testing systems: Use computerized testing systems to conduct service tests on customer lines and equipment.
  6. Climb and work aloft: Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders, or other support structures to access and repair equipment.
Work Environment and Requirements

This role requires working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme temperatures, rain, and snow. You will also be required to work at heights and in confined spaces. A high level of physical fitness is essential, as you will be required to lift and carry heavy equipment and climb ladders.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail is essential for this role, as you will be working with complex technical equipment.
  • Organized: You must be highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
