Job Title: Accounting Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Technician to join our team at Spectrum Accounting Group Ltd. This is a paid internship that encourages on-the-job training and skill development.

Job Summary:

The Accounting Technician will be responsible for performing various accounting tasks, including preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and managing accounts payable and receivable. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
  • Reconcile accounts, including bank and credit card statements
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing clients and processing payments
  • Perform general accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Excel
