Project Technologist - Building Science

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Technologist to join our Building Science and Sustainability team in Richmond, BC.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in building science and sustainability, with a focus on providing integrated solutions to residential, institutional, industrial, and commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct investigations and assessments to determine the condition of various building elements
  • Write technical reports summarizing the results of field data
  • Liaise with clients and contractors to provide solutions and strategies
  • Prepare proposals and business development materials
  • Collaborate with the BSS team on services and strategies such as property condition assessments, building investigations, reserve fund studies, and technical report writing

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in building science, architectural technology, or equivalent experience
  • Sound construction knowledge and good communication skills
  • Experience conducting baseline property condition assessments and commercial building inspections
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and ability to safely transport and carry equipment
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and personal vehicle required
