About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate licensed pharmacist to join our team at Lawtons in Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, counseling, and education to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care, prioritizing warmth, empathy, and compassion in all interactions.
  • Provide personalized counseling and education to patients and caregivers on new therapies, tailoring to their unique needs and concerns.
  • Develop and implement care plans, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellence in health and wellness services, actively engaging in professional programs and initiatives.
  • Ensure seamless care and a consistent pharmacy experience across locations, prioritizing technical functions and supporting Pharmacy Registered Technicians and Assistants as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant corporate pharmacy service offerings and programs, providing each customer with the best possible health care solution.
  • Maintain current knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulatory requirements, and industry trends, attending training as necessary.
  • Adhere to all regulatory requirements, company policies, processes, and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
  • Must be a licensed pharmacist in good standing in the province of Nova Scotia.
  • Injection and First Aid Certification.
  • Kroll software experience is preferred.
