As a Global Talent Acquisition Specialist at CareerBeacon, you will play a critical role in supporting international candidates throughout the hiring process. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional support to candidates outside of Canada who have received an offer of employment within our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with government agencies, settlement agencies, multicultural agencies, and other organizations to ensure a smooth transition for international employees.
- Work closely with the staffing and recruitment team, as well as the regional diversity and inclusion advisor, to ensure a cohesive and inclusive hiring process.
- Develop and implement strategies to support international employees throughout the hiring process, including obtaining work permits and relocation assistance.
- Provide exceptional customer service to international candidates, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Stay up-to-date on immigration laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in human resources, recruiting, or a related field.
- Excellent knowledge of immigration laws and best practices.
- Strong planning, delivery, and evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license to travel for work within the province.
- Good physical health and ability to perform assigned duties.
- Good previous work history, with a strong attendance record.
- Adherence to professional ethics principles and organizational values.
