IFG International Financial Group Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join their team in Toronto. This 12-month contract has the potential for extension or conversion to a permanent role.

Job Description

The Incident Response Lead will manage a centralized mailbox, ensuring timely and efficient communication regarding incident reports. They will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to identify, investigate, and mediate incidents. Additionally, this role will assist in meeting records retention requirements and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead or assist in thorough investigations of incidents, gathering and documenting all relevant facts, and taking appropriate remediation actions.
  • Monitor and track all incidents reported via a centralized mailbox, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Partner with internal departments and external stakeholders to investigate, resolve, and mediate incidents.
  • Assist in maintaining records retention requirements, ensuring all records related to incidents are properly archived and compliant with company standards.

This role requires strong writing skills, critical thinking, and collaboration abilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of success in risk management and incident response.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in risk management and incident response.
  • Strong writing and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and problem-solving abilities.

Prior banking experience is an asset, but not required. A Bachelor's degree is also necessary.
