About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team at CITY FURNITURE (DC) LTD. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment to load, unload, and move materials and products.
  • Order Fulfillment: Ship orders and pick orders and stock in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, including using computerized inventory control systems.
  • Product Preparation: Make labels and attach to goods, wrap goods, pack and unpack goods, and install, lash, and secure goods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a warehouse or material handling environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 hours per week.
