Job Title: Director of Operations

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and providing strategic guidance to operations leaders, ensuring the smooth operation of the facility and achieving business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement strategies to improve employee safety, food safety, and quality systems.
  2. Work closely with the supply chain team to identify capacity constraints and ensure timely delivery of products to customers.
  3. Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive proactive communication throughout the organization.
  4. Lead by example and calibrate teams on performance, ensuring clear goals, objectives, and expectations are met.
  5. Deliver cost savings through identifying and executing projects to improve OEE, reduce product waste, and reduce unnecessary costs.
  6. Develop and drive annual business plans on people, safety, quality, service, and costs.
  7. Monitor daily operation schedules for accuracy and ensure daily operational goals are realized.
  8. Provide strategic guidance to the organization through participation in cross-functional meetings and data analysis on sales trends and cost performance.
  9. Create a 3-5 year strategic plan for the facility to ensure supply and maintain infrastructure needs, supporting the organization's growth strategy.
  10. Improve facility stewardship and asset maintenance.
  11. Participate in new product development and planning, researching the cost and ability of producing the product.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree required; preference for degrees in Engineering and Food Science.

Minimum of ten years experience in a production facility, with a minimum of three years as a Plant Manager. Prefer experience in the food industry.
