CNC Coder Job Description

Mirmil Products is a leading manufacturer of unique architectural millwork projects for commercial customers. We are seeking a skilled CNC Coder to join our team.

Job Summary

The CNC Coder will be responsible for the accurate programming, setup, and operation of CNC machines to create custom parts. This is a key role in our production process, and the successful candidate will have a strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate data programming of CNC machines.
  2. Calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
  3. Create CNC programs and determine the sequence of machine operations.
  4. Select proper cutting tools needed to machine workpieces into desired shapes.
  5. Build process sheets for material flow and review rough sketches with the engineering team.
Requirements
  1. 2 years of experience as a CNC Programmer.
  2. Extreme attention to detail and proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural/engineering plans.
  3. Aptitude for problem-solving and excellent written and oral communication skills.
