Hospitality Host

We are seeking a Hospitality Host to join our team at RJ's Urban Garden Cafe.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and providing exceptional customer service. As a Hospitality Host, you will be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests, ensuring that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Main Responsibilities:

• Greet patrons and present menus: Create a positive first impression by greeting guests warmly and presenting menus in a friendly and approachable manner.
• Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff: Take accurate orders from guests and communicate them effectively to the kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service.
• Serve food and beverages: Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring that all dishes are presented attractively and garnished as required.
• Provide excellent customer service: Respond promptly to guest inquiries, resolve issues efficiently, and provide exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience: Will train on the job.

Working Conditions:

The Hospitality Host will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment with exposure to variable temperatures, humidity, and noise levels. The position requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Physical Capabilities:

The Hospitality Host must be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Salary: $25,000 - $35,000 per year, based on experience and performance.
