Responsibilities
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable living environment
  • Launder clothing and household linens, and mend clothing and linens as needed
  • Assist with meal preparation and grocery shopping, if required
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities with clients to promote social interaction and mental stimulation
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required; experience an asset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
  • Reliability, punctuality, and flexibility
Work Environment

As a Household Care Specialist, you will work in a non-smoking environment and be required to undergo a criminal record check.
