Procurement Agent

Welcome to a dynamic role at Ultium CAM GP Inc., where you will play a crucial part in shaping the future of the cathode industry. As a Procurement Agent, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of raw materials.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Place orders and process invoices related to raw material procurement in collaboration with buyers.
  • Track order progress and maintain regular communication with suppliers.
  • Organize and plan deliveries in coordination with transportation companies.
  • Coordinate and monitor the delivery of raw materials.
  • Verify the conformity of received products with orders.
  • Collaborate with the logistics department to manage inventory.
  • Conduct regular inventories and ensure their accuracy.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement activities.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities, order status, and key performance indicators.
What We're Looking For:
  • A degree in Procurement or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in procurement within the manufacturing sector is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a constantly evolving environment.
