Housekeeping Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at the Northern Star Hotel & Convention Center.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our housekeeping department, ensuring that all rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained. This is a key role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Hire, train, and supervise a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that they are meeting the highest standards of cleanliness and customer service.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure that all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure that all areas of the hotel are clean and well-maintained.
- Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies and equipment.
- Ensure that all housekeeping staff are aware of and comply with hotel policies and procedures.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a housekeeping or related role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced hotel environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction.
