Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Critical Care RNs to join our team in various locations throughout Nova Scotia. As an Intensive Care Unit Nurse, you will be responsible for the overall coordination and direction of nursing care within an ICU, providing clinical leadership, particularly in complex or unpredictable patient/client care settings.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Assessing patients' conditions and developing individualized care plans
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient care
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in Nursing from an accredited School of Nursing
- One year full-time Critical Care experience
- Completion of an approved Critical Care Course/Critical Care Certificate/CCNP and/or one year of experience in critical care required for ICU/IMCU positions
- Three to five years of acute care nursing experience preferred
