Job Title: Mixology Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mixology Specialist to join our team at Symposium Cafe Restaurant & Lounge. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional beverage service to our patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain the bar area, ensuring a clean and safe environment for customers and staff.
• Hire, train, and supervise food and beverage servers, as well as other staff members to ensure excellent customer service.
• Supervise the preparation of mixed drinks, wine, draft or bottled beer, and non-alcoholic beverages to meet customer demands.
• Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality service.
• Collect cash, credit/debit cards, or other payment for beverages sold.
• Order bar stock and maintain inventory control to minimize waste and optimize sales.
• Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements:

• No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
• A permanent employment contract with 40 hours per week.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
