**Job Description**

The Strategic Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and communications plans to meet the Faculty's strategic objectives. Reporting to the Executive Director, Finance and Administration, this key position requires collaboration with diverse stakeholder groups, including the senior administration team, faculty, staff, and students.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical research skills, be able to think creatively, and demonstrate exceptional problem-solving abilities. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing marketing and communications plans, providing leadership on marketing and communications activities, and collaborating with Queen's Media to amplify the media profile of faculty members.

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications plans to meet the Faculty's strategic objectives, leveraging project management expertise to drive success.
  2. Provide leadership on marketing and communications activities, working closely with the senior administration team and faculty members to promote the Faculty's image and reputation.
  3. Collaborate with the Queen's Law and central Alumni & Advancement teams to ensure annual giving, class giving, and major giving projects are well-supported with quality proposals and communication materials.
  4. Manage marketing and communications programs, overseeing the creation and dissemination of various communication materials, including print, electronic, and web-based information.
