Content Claims Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Content Claims Specialist to join our team at Crawford & Company. As a Content Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in the accurate and timely processing of content claims, utilizing our claims handling methodology and content claims processing and pricing platform, exclaim.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct onsite visits to meet with adjusters/policyholders and conduct inventories of total loss contents.
- Ensure consistent and quality turnaround of all claims in accordance with our productivity and performance standards.
- Work with other teams to organize and direct resources required for completing inventories and LKQ valuations of total loss contents.
- Adhere to our commitment to timely and informative updates on the content claims process to adjusters/policyholders.
- Complete and submit detailed work/time logs daily for all claim tasks completed.
- Maintain claim-related notes in our platform, exclaim, related to various tasks involved in handling the claim.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion/pricing of all outstanding items, adhering to Like, Kind and Quality (LKQ) standards.
- Consistently promote our brand, image, and reputation in a professional and positive manner.
- A Secondary School diploma.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Some prior background/experience in the Property claims industry would be considered an asset.
- Ability to provide an adequate workspace, free of noise.
- Employee must provide their own high-speed internet service.
- Company equipment, including a laptop, will be provided.
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required, with business-related expenses covered by Crawford & Company.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office/Outlook).
- Strong communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to change and new technology.
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve.
