Job Summary:

BQ International Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist - Access Management to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the secure management of access to our systems and platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Access Request Fulfillment: Ensure that all access requests on managed systems and platforms are fulfilled in compliance with requirements of all applicable processes, policies, certified standards, and regulations.
  2. Access Removal: Ensure removal of physical and logical access is completed in a timely manner.
  3. Physical Access Management: Manage Physical Access (door access cards and ID Cards).
  4. Account Management: Manage accounts and access in multiple systems and applications.
  5. Security Policy Compliance: Observe all SaskPower security policies and identify required changes.
  6. Security Documentation: Ensure that security procedures are properly documented and adequately protect the computer and information assets of SaskPower.
  7. Security Audits: Perform security audits and reporting and participate in internal and external audits as required.
  8. Project Participation: Participate in project activity to implement security or access control solutions.
  9. Application and Data Ownership: Maintain application and data owners and provide training/support.
  10. Credential Management: Control distribution and recovery of credentials and security tokens.
  11. Elevated Privilege Accounts: Control and audit elevated privileged accounts.
  12. Incident Response: Respond to incidents relating to security access.
  13. NERC CIP Compliance: Conduct NERC CIP compliance activities related to Access Management and Information Management.

Requirements:

  1. Continuous Improvement: Demonstrated record of continuous improvement.
  2. Computer Security Experience: Computer security related experience.
  3. Confidentiality and Integrity: Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and integrity.
  4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  5. Planning and Organizational Skills: Planning and organizational skills.
  6. Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Deliverables/Quality of Service:

  1. Access Management Requests: Access Management requests – Service Level adherence.
  2. Security Audit Reports: Security audit reports.
  3. Security Processes and Procedure Documentation: Security processes and procedure documentation.

Experience in ISIM/ISAM, Varonis, SAP, Genetec, Active Directory, Azure, and O365 would be a benefit.
