We are seeking a highly skilled Process Operator II to join our team at Imperial Oil. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our plant units and sulfur recovery operations.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with the Control Room Technician and other Operations Technicians to ensure understanding of job safety requirements, safety, health, environmental, and security concerns.
- Support the CRT/Ops Supervisor in providing oversight of area activities and ensuring they are integrated and conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- Work in a crew environment to manage activities involved with safe and efficient operation of all plant units and sulfur recovery operations.
- Perform surveillance of equipment.
- Industry experience in operations or similar required.
- In-depth knowledge in production operations/processes.
- In-depth knowledge in P&IDs, PFD's, and UFD's.
- Able to read shutdown logic diagrams.
- Highest standard of Safety, Health, Environment aptitude and cultivates the same in others.
- Excellent communications (oral & written) in English.
- Excellent interpersonal and motivation skills.
- Ability to interact in a multi-cultural environment.
- Advanced understanding and operation of Emergency Preparedness Procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of safety management tools and processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- 4th Class Power Engineering Certificate.
- Valid driver's license and a safe driving record required.
- Gas plant experience desired.
- Strong troubleshooting, planning, coordination, and supervisory skills.
- Working knowledge of Excel, MS Word, Outlook.

Pay RangeThe pay range for this position is $40-49 per hour; however, the pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
