Job Description
The Controller will be responsible for overseeing financial and accounting activities, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements. This individual will also provide strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis and projections.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner to various stakeholders.
  2. Proficient in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
  3. Ensure accuracy and completeness in all financial activities.
  4. Show flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced and changing environment; manage multiple priorities effectively.
  5. Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
  6. Ensure effective financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  7. Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
  8. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  9. Implement and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA designation required.
  2. Minimum of 6 years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  3. Experience in the real estate development industry is highly desirable.
  4. Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE).
  5. Ability to lead and mentor a high-performing finance team.
  6. Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  7. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
