Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and caring Home Childcare Provider to join our team at Jordan Charles Diasnes. As a key member of our childcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a safe and healthy environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, ensuring the children's needs are met and the home is maintained in a safe and healthy manner.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized living space.
  • Bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, encouraging their growth and independence.
  • Keep accurate records of daily activities and health information regarding the children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits and a balanced diet.
  • Supervise and care for children, providing a nurturing and supportive environment.
  • Work a 40-hour week, with a permanent contract.
  • Work language: English or French.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in childcare or a related field.
