Job Title: Senior Accountant

Michael Gao Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for providing financial guidance and support to our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Identify clients' financial goals and objectives, plan, set up and administer accounting systems, and train staff.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial information for individuals, departments or companies, develop financial plans for clients, and prepare financial statements and reports.
  • Financial Compliance: Ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards, procedures and internal control, and review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial documents and reports, examine accounting records, and provide financial, business and tax advice.
  • Financial Operations: Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, and oversee payroll administration.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: CANTAX, Quick Books, Caseware/Caseview, MS Office, Internet, MS Excel, MS Windows, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook
  • Area of Specialization: Accounting
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Dependability, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Organized, Reliability, Team player, Ability to multitask
