Job Title: Caregiver Assistant

Shapiro Sammy is seeking a reliable and compassionate Caregiver Assistant to join our team. As a Caregiver Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and dignity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, including conversation, reading, and watching movies
  • Assist with light housekeeping and cleaning duties, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation
  • Shop for groceries and household supplies, and prepare nutritious meals
  • Provide emotional support and reassurance to clients, including listening to their concerns and validating their feelings
Requirements:
  • 1-6 months of experience in a caregiving role
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as required
