Welder Expert for Shipbuilding Projects

We are seeking a skilled Welder Expert to join our team at Océan's Verreault shipyard. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing various welding and assembly tasks on shipbuilding and repair projects.

• Work with Plans and Interpret Required Welding Procedures
• Cut Material and Fit According to Specifications
• Perform Welding Tasks Using FCAW and GMAW Processes
• Participate in Health, Safety, and Environment Management System Activities

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A diploma in vocational studies in welding-fitting or equivalent experience
• The ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, or outdoors
• The ability to read and interpret plans
• Resourcefulness and versatility
• Team player skills
• Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and jigs
• CWB cards (asset)

As a valued member of our team, you can expect a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
