Job Title: Truck Driver

At CANADA INC., we are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Documentation: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, as well as obtain special permits and documents required for international routes.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs and respond to unexpected situations.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Experience an asset, with a focus on transportation and logistics.
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license required.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
