About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at FS Tool Corporation. As an industrial machinery maintenance mechanic, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Detect and troubleshoot irregularities and malfunctions in industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation and maintenance.
  • Construct foundations for machinery and equipment, and perform routine maintenance work to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair or replace defective parts and fabricate new parts as needed to maintain equipment and machinery.
  • Operate machining tools to fabricate parts and perform maintenance tasks.
  • Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Install and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission systems, as well as tool grinders and other equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including hours worked, equipment used, and any issues encountered.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience in industrial machinery maintenance.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of industrial machinery and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Work Environment

This is a permanent full-time position, working 40 hours per week in a factory setting. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Language and Work Term

The primary language of work is English, and the work term is permanent.
