Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at LA CASA AMIGO INC. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes, including Mexican, vegetarian, and Caribbean and Latin American cuisine.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and cook meals for our customers, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement new menu items and recipes to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
- Manage kitchen inventory and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary ingredients and equipment to meet our culinary needs.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to create a welcoming and inclusive dining experience for our customers.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest culinary trends and techniques.
- 2 years of experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role.
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a focus on attention to detail and quality control.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with our culinary team and other departments.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
