About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at A & W. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service: Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as burgers, fries, and sandwiches, to meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Customer Service: Serve customers at counters or buffet tables, taking orders and handling payments in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Inventory Management: Stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring that our menu items are always fresh and available.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of food quantities used, helping us to optimize our inventory and reduce waste.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service, supporting each other to meet our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job is essential.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues.
  • Availability: Availability to work 32 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
