Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Safeway Holdings (Alberta) Ltd. in a hotel and resort setting. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and tidy appearance
  • Make beds and change sheets to provide a comfortable and clean sleeping environment for guests
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to ensure guests have a pleasant stay
  • Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and clean ride for guests
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure guests' personal belongings are returned
  • Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items to provide excellent customer service
  • Provide basic information on facilities to guests to ensure they have a pleasant stay
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns to provide excellent customer service
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
