The Rinks at Summit Centre is seeking a skilled Mechanic - HVAC Specialist to join our team. As an HVAC Specialist, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems. Your expertise will ensure the comfort and safety of our customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and maintain ventilation, air handling, and air conditioning systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration and air conditioning systems
  • Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
  • Measure, cut, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment
  • Start up systems and test for leaks using testing devices
  • Handle, recover, and store refrigerants
  • Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation, or heat pump systems

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 30 to 40 hours of work per week
