Job Title: Process and Controls Specialist

At Stars Restaurant, we're seeking a highly motivated Process and Controls Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Risk Management group, you'll play a critical role in evaluating and enhancing our internal audit and risk management functions.

About the Role

As a Process and Controls Specialist, you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive risk services through a suite of strategic, outsourcing, and industry-focused operational recommendations. You'll work closely with our clients to identify control enhancements, operational and compliance process improvements, and efficiency opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct internal audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance internal controls and risk management
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their risk management strategies and provide tailored recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in risk management and internal audit
Requirements
  • Between 1-2 years of relevant experience in risk management or internal audit
  • Relevant designations, such as CPA or CIA, or demonstrated interest in pursuing and completing the required examinations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint
