Lunchroom Manager

Job Summary:

As a Lunchroom Supervisor with the Durham District School Board, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during lunch hour recess. Under the direction of the Principal, you will be responsible for supervising students who remain on school grounds, maintaining a positive and inclusive environment, and promoting a culture of respect and responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise students during lunch hour recess, ensuring their safety and well-being
• Maintain a positive and inclusive environment, promoting respect and responsibility among students
• Work collaboratively with the Principal and other school staff to achieve common goals
• Develop and implement strategies to promote student engagement and participation
• Monitor and report any incidents or concerns to the Principal

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents. You will also have a strong understanding of child development and behavior, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
