Job Title: Excavation Labourer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Excavation Labourer to join our team at Gogo Excavating & Contracting Ltd. As an Excavation Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting in the excavation process, including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials. You will also be required to clean and lubricate cranes, erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.

Responsibilities:

  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials
  • Clean and lubricate cranes
  • Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
  • Assemble tower cranes on site
  • Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
  • Pave and rake asphalt
  • Assist in demolishing buildings
  • Clean and pile salvaged materials
  • Perform routine maintenance work

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Ability to work outdoors, at heights, and underground
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Ability to handle heavy loads

Working Conditions:

  • Work site environment: outdoors, at heights, and underground
  • Work setting: urban area, high-rise building construction sites, rural area, industrial plant, factory or plant, construction site
