About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Roofing Supervisor to join our team at Laing Roofing Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of roofing systems on various commercial and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule roofing projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and train a team of roofers, cladders, and apprentices to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure that roofing work is being performed to the highest standards.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all roofing projects are conducted in a safe and healthy environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports on project progress, including costs, materials, and labor hours.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in the roofing industry, with a focus on commercial and industrial projects.
  • Certifications: Roofer Red Seal Certificate and Fall Arrest Protection Training Course.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, at heights.
