About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled carpenter to join our team at Wallzone Projects Ltd. As a carpenter, you will be responsible for preparing layouts, measuring and cutting materials, assembling and joining materials, and building foundations, walls, and roof systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
- Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware.
- Survey building locations and levels.
- Supervise other workers.
- Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
Working Conditions:
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
