Aequilibrium is seeking a skilled Android Developer to contribute to the development of innovative mobile applications.
About the Role
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compelling user-facing products and services.
- Work closely with designers, product managers, and development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of projects.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Android SDKs, libraries, and technologies to ensure our applications are innovative and effective.
- Develop and maintain automated unit tests to ensure quality and reliability of code.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality and best practices.
- Contribute to the development of libraries and tools used by other developers.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to understand their business challenges and develop solutions that meet their needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Android development.
- 3+ years of experience in Angular development.
- Experience working with Agile software development methodologies like Scrum.
- Experience working directly with clients and stakeholders.
- Developing and maintaining software using Kotlin and Java.
- Reactive programming experience with RxJava.
- Creating automated unit tests and ensuring quality in your code.
- Experience with Jetpack libraries.
- Experience developing and successfully launching native Android apps to Google Play.
- Understanding of fragments, animation, threading, and the latest Android SDKs.
- Experience performing peer code review.
- Experience with Backbase platform and Fintech Domain.
Nice to Have
- Experience working with REST APIs.
- A desire to work with the latest technologies relating to Android.
