About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Butcher to join our team at Warraich Meat Shop Inc. as a Meat Cutter and Sales Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting and Preparing Meats: Clean and cut meats to prepare for processing or cutting, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
  • Meat Sales and Customer Service: Sell meats to customers, provide excellent customer service, and ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Meat Preparation and Display: Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers, cut, trim, and prepare standard cuts of meat, and create visually appealing displays of meats, poultry, and fish products.
  • Meat Processing and Packaging: Wrap and package prepared meats, remove bones from meat, and weigh meats for sale.
  • Team Collaboration and Training: Supervise other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers, train meat cutters, and work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales and customer satisfaction goals.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, flexible, initiative, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 30 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
