Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

LanceSoft is seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a key role in leading discovery and analysis to ensure a clear understanding of user needs and legal rights in advance of the upcoming negotiation for the Ontario Parcel Master Agreement (OPMA) contract renewal in 2027.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and provide a comprehensive range of I&IT business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs
  • Interact with business stakeholders and subject matter experts to understand their requirements through gathering, documenting, and analyzing business needs and requirements
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocations, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones
  • Lead requirements gather sessions, validate findings, and build consensus among stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Strong business analysis skills, with experience leading technical needs assessment for multi-stakeholder, geospatial solution discovery projects
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience leading user engagement and discovery on projects involving multiple stakeholders and disciplines
  • Experience leading discovery on projects involving geospatial data and sensitive or confidential data
  • Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices
