Job Title: Senior Accountant

Maven Transport Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, planning and setting up accounting systems, supervising staff, and training staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and procedures.
  • Plan, set up, and administer accounting systems to ensure efficient and effective financial management.
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Analyze clients' financial records to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for financial planning and management.
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, procedures, and internal control.
  • Prepare financial information for individuals, departments, or companies, and develop financial plans for clients.
  • Make recommendations concerning cash management, insurance coverage, investment planning, retirement, and estate planning.
  • Arrange for the sale of financial products and investments, and develop and maintain cost findings, reporting, and internal control procedures.
  • Review and examine financial services and institutions to ensure compliance with governing legislation and regulation.
  • Analyze financial documents and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 5 years or more of experience in accounting or related field.
