Job Title: Flatbed Truck Driver

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team at Triple Gold Trucking. As a Flatbed Truck Driver, you will be responsible for driving a flatbed truck, transporting goods, and ensuring the safe delivery of cargo.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a flatbed truck, transporting goods from one location to another;
  • Ensure the safe delivery of cargo, adhering to company policies and regulations;
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition;
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment;
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance;
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption;
  • Relay information to central dispatch and receive updates on cargo and vehicle status;
  • Ensure the safety and security of cargo, adhering to company policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • AZ Class License;
  • Air Brake (Z) Endorsement;
  • Valid driver's license;
  • Willingness to travel cross-border and extended periods;
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Work Environment:

As a Flatbed Truck Driver at Triple Gold Trucking, you will be working in a fast-paced environment, transporting goods across various locations. You will be required to work independently, making decisions to ensure the safe delivery of cargo.
