Job Summary:

We are seeking a certified Lifeguard to join our team at Saanich Commonwealth Place. As a Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of participants in aquatic activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment
  • Lead activities, games, and events for participants
  • Conduct regular equipment checks to ensure proper functioning
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid when necessary

Requirements:

  • Grade 10 completion
  • Minimum age of 16 years old
  • Current National Lifeguard Service certification (Waterpark Option)
  • Current Cardio pulmonary Resuscitation certification – Level C with AED certification
  • Current Standard First Aid Level 1 certification
  • Over one month, up to and including three months experience
  • Satisfactory police information check
