- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and optimal productivity.
- Sell Merchandise: Promote and sell our products to customers, providing expert knowledge and recommendations to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other issues that may arise, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and customer service.
- Organize Inventory: Manage and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that products are stocked and displayed effectively to meet customer demand.
- Supervise and Coordinate: Supervise and coordinate the activities of retail salespersons and sales clerks, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service and sales performance.
- Manage Cash: Handle cash transactions, manage cash handling procedures, and maintain accurate records to ensure financial integrity.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Delicatessen Supervisor who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and promoting our products. As a successful candidate, you will have:
- 1-2 years of experience: In a retail or delicatessen environment, with a proven track record of success in a supervisory role.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and management.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of retail salespersons and sales clerks.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with regular standing, walking, and bending required.
