We are seeking a skilled and experienced Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Light Speed Logistics Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and organized individual who is looking for a challenging and rewarding career in the transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across the country
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Hold a valid Class 1 driver's license and have a clean driving record
Requirements:
  • Valid Class 1 driver's license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts and hours
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
